Tyler earned her bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies and Minor of Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies at Texas Tech University. Her M.S. in Counseling from Southern Methodist University provided her the knowledge and training to become a Licensed Professional Counseling intern and Nationally Certified Counselor, supervised by Dr. Tanisha Guy, LPC-S, NCC. She is a member of the Texas Counseling Association, Texas Mental Health Counselor Association, and The American Mental Health Counseling Association.
Tyler’s experience ranges from speaking at public forums about the importance of being mentally stable, to assessing and rendering therapy to individuals, couples, and families who are recovering from addiction, grief, trauma, mental illness, or any range of personal dilemmas and daily stressors.Tyler works tirelessly to de-stigmatize mental health by facilitating stimulating conversations with those who seek professional guidance. She has devoted her life and personal studies to the constant development and healing of others.
