Andrea Wise-Brown M.Ed., LPC.,NCC, Life Strategist.

Andrea is a native of New Jersey where she earned her bachelors degree in Psychology/Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Kean University/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Andrea currently resides in Texas where she earned her M.Ed. in Counseling at the University of North Texas. Andrea is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a trained Hostage Negotiator. Andrea is a member of Texas Counseling Association, Texas Association of Hostage Negotiators and The International Association of Trauma Professionals. Andrea is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.    

Andrea provides individual, group, and family counseling using research-based therapy approaches for adolescents, adults, and families. Andrea is warm and compassionate and utilizes a non-judgmental approach to therapy. Her method of practice is contingent upon each individual and centered around that person's particular need. The goal of therapy is to help each person find healthy solutions in order to lead full and productive lives as they see it. Andrea’s commitment is to create an environment in which her clients feel comfortable and safe to explore their innermost thoughts, needs and emotions.

Andrea’s professional experiences include; home-based treatment, working with high risk youth and families, drug abuse/truancy, domestic violence offenders/victims and as a therapist/consultant for Law Enforcement and Federal Agencies. Andrea has presented nationally on topics such as; relationships, self-esteem, family, parenting and the impact of the media on body image. Andrea currently co-host an Internet radio show, “Dr. Guy’s Monday Night Gumbo” on where social, relationship and political issues are discussed. Andrea has appeared as an Expert on "OWN" Oprah Winfrey Network and other media outlets. Andrea is the CEO of “Smart Girls with Character”; an organization that teaches girls age’s 9-17 skills to enhance their self-esteem.

Tyler Turner, M.S., LPC, NCC

Supervised by Dr. Tanisha Guy, LPC-S, NCC

Tyler earned her bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies and Minor of Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies at Texas Tech University. Her M.S. in Counseling from Southern Methodist University provided her the knowledge and training to become a Licensed Professional Counseling intern and Nationally Certified Counselor, supervised by Dr. Tanisha Guy, LPC-S, NCC. She is a member of the Texas Counseling Association, Texas Mental Health Counselor Association, and The American Mental Health Counseling Association.

Tyler’s experience ranges from speaking at public forums about the importance of being mentally stable, to assessing and rendering therapy to individuals, couples, and families who are recovering from addiction, grief, trauma, mental illness, or any range of personal dilemmas and daily stressors.Tyler works tirelessly to de-stigmatize mental health by facilitating stimulating conversations with those who seek professional guidance. She has devoted her life and personal studies to the constant development and healing of others.
